I just got an excellent job offer today, and I am very excited about it! Starting next month, I will be teaching at AUA's branch in Ratchayothin, which is located in this incredibly interesting building which looks exactly like an elephant, hence the name "Chang (or elephant) Building". I will be working afternoon - evening hours during the week and mornings on the weekends for a total of only 25 hours a week! The pay is very good for Thailand, and the teacher support that this school offers is impressive. They provide mentoring for an hour each day, which is something that most schools don't bother to do.
I have about 3 weeks until I start my job, which gives me plenty of time to see more of Thailand. Fortune Cookie's cousin and aunt will be coming over on Wednesday, and we will all be heading over to the south to check out the beautiful beaches of Krabi and Phi-Phi. Should be great!
